The Dachshund Network started as an early web guide to the breed. This version keeps the idea and starts again with a timetable layout: clear tables, a growth chart, a back-safety audit, a ramp calculator and a quiz to see whether the breed fits your life.

What we do not do

• We show no adverts and sell nothing.
• We run no analytics and load no third-party scripts.
• We give no individual veterinary advice. Pages are general information.

How we write

Facts come from breed standards, veterinary organisations and published studies, listed on the sources page. We rewrite them in plain words and say where a figure is only indicative.
